Author. Speaker. Content Creator.

Robin has devoted her career to a question that sounds simple but touches nearly every part of our lives:
What makes a relationship truly work?
Through decades of working with individuals, couples, families, leaders, and organizations, Robin has seen how deeply our relationships shape who we are and how we experience our lives. She has also seen how easily people can become caught in expectations about what relationships are supposed to look like, waiting for someone else to change, trying harder at something that is not working, or believing that the right relationship should somehow come naturally.
Those experiences became the foundation for
The Fairytale Fallacy:
Stop Chasing Fairytales. Build the Relationships You Deserve.
The book brings together Robin’s clinical experience, leadership work, and the lessons she has learned from thousands of conversations over the course of her career. At its heart is a belief that has guided her work for decades: extraordinary relationships are not something we simply find. They are something we learn how to build, and that work begins with the relationship we have with ourselves.
Throughout her career, Robin has helped people recognize the patterns that keep them stuck, gain clarity about what they need and value, and turn insight into meaningful change. Her approach is practical, strength based, and action oriented, grounded in the belief that the relationship you have with yourself is the foundation for every other relationship you build.
For Robin, The Fairytale Fallacy is more than a book. It is the culmination of her life’s work and the beginning of a larger conversation about what becomes possible when we stop waiting for our relationships to become the fairytale and start learning how to build relationships worthy of us.

Robin T. Farber, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist, relationship expert, leadership coach, author, and speaker with more than four decades of experience helping individuals, couples, families, and leaders build stronger relationships with themselves and others.
Robin’s approach is practical and strength based. She helps people understand the patterns that shape how they think, feel, choose, and relate to others, gain clarity about who they are and what matters most to them, and use that understanding to make meaningful changes in their lives and relationships.
Robin’s expertise in relationships is rooted in extensive clinical training and experience. Earlier in her career, she received years of intensive training in Structural Family Therapy under the guidance of a clinician who, at the time, was affiliated with the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic. Her training included live clinical work and supervision through a one way mirror, with immediate observation and feedback. She later went on to train other clinicians in family therapy. This experience became an important foundation for her understanding of relationship patterns, family systems, and how meaningful change takes place.
As the founder of Behavioral Health Solutions • Peak Performance, LLC, Robin’s work has spanned psychotherapy, relationship work, leadership coaching, workshops, and speaking. She has worked with individuals, couples, families, teams, and organizations, with particular experience working with family owned businesses.
Robin is a Certified Coach through the MentorCoach program and a cofounder of Peak Performance at Green Acres, an equine based leadership development program. She has presented at professional conferences, including the National Association for Law Placement, and continues to serve as a senior consultant with Loeb Leadership.
She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and an MSW from the University of Maryland.
